Are you a qualified & passionate Learning Support Assistant?

A local Primary School in Hillingdon is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join their great team from 8th March - if all children come back to school at that point!

The role will involve supporting Year R children in class, both inside and outside, with all areas of learning, from 9am - 12pm and then supporting the children at lunchtime from 12-1pm.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate empathy for children and be responsive to their needs, be able to work under direction and under their own initiative and enjoy being part of a hard-working team.

  • Has a good understanding of young children's needs and how to develop these
  • Is committed to ensure that every child reaches their potential
  • Has the patience and imagination to help and inspire children with all areas of their learning
  • Is able to work under the direction of the class teacherbut also can show initiative
  • Has excellent team working skills
  • Has an ability to communicate effectively with children and staff
  • Is conscientious and enthusiastic
