As an HGV Vehicle Technician, you will:

* Maintain and repair a fleet of appliances, vans, cars, and marine craft

* Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults

* Carry out all types of repairs, including hydraulics, engines, transmissions, braking systems, and ABS/traction control

* Fabricate basic components as required

* Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections

* Undertake repairs both at the workshop and on-site at service locations

* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards

The successful candidate will have:

* A relevant Level 3 Mechanical qualification (NVQ, apprenticeship, or equivalent)

* Proven experience diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle faults

* Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel/petrol engines, automatic transmissions, and braking systems

* Ability to carry out fabrication work using various materials

* Good IT and communication skills

* A track record of producing high-quality work within set deadlines

* A positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on safety and compliance
