Caralex Recruitment Limited have been asked to recruit an Assistant Materials Buyer for a leading residential developer based in Berkshire. 

The role will entail supporting a Senior Buyer to research cost effective building materials and liaise with their suppliers, ordering the correct quality and quantity to arrive on site at the right time. You will also learn to work with the Site Managers to develop a good working relationship with them so there can be sensible adjustments with materials and timings for the good of the business. 

You will have worked as an Assistant Buyer for a construction company of any kind, or for a builders merchant selling building supplies.
