About the DT Department
The DT department is vibrant and highly creative, offering a range of specialisms including Product Design, Textiles, and Food. The faculty has a range of modern resources including CAD/CAM facilities, laser cutters, and a fully equipped workshop.

About the Role
As a DT Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching DT across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).
• Delivering engaging, hands-on lessons with a practical and creative focus.
• Inspiring students to take pride in design, making, and innovation.
• Supporting extracurricular clubs and competitions such as STEM or design challenges.
• Collaborating with a dynamic and experienced faculty.
• Contributing to curriculum design and resource development.

Experience and Qualifications
• DT-related degree and QTS/PGCE
• Knowledge of health and safety in workshop environments
• Excellent organisational and project planning skills
• Passion for DT and the ability to motivate young designers

Salary
Paid to scale - MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
