Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and support residential AV systems including multi‑room audio, home cinema, video distribution, and control systems.

Configure and troubleshoot platforms such as Control4, Crestron, Lutron, Savant, or similar.

Install and terminate structured cabling (Cat6/7, fibre, speaker cable).

Work closely with project managers, designers, and clients to deliver seamless installations.

Conduct system testing, fault‑finding, and final handover demonstrations.

Maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and project notes.

Provide ongoing support and occasional call‑outs when required.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in residential AV installation or a similar technical field.

Strong understanding of home networking, Wi-Fi systems, and IP-based technologies.

Confident working with tools, cable management, and rack building.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Professional, client‑facing communication style.

Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills

Certification or hands‑on experience with Control4, Crestron, Lutron, Savant, KNX, or similar systems.

Experience with home cinema calibration, acoustic treatments, or advanced networking.

Ability to read technical drawings and wiring schematics
