Textile Production Operatives

Blue Arrow is recruiting for Textile Production Operatives in Rawtenstall, Rossendale for one of the leading manufactures of textiles.

We are looking for Experienced production operatives who have worked in a similar role within the manufacturing environment, who understands manufacturing specification and can follow instructions. You must have basic IT skills, basic literacy, and numeracy skills & have knowledge of Kaizen / 6-sigma.

We are looking for Experience manufacturing operatives to work on the following shift patterns:
6am to 6pm - 36 hours per week, Monday to Saturday
6pm to 6am Monday to Saturday

You will be required to work 3 days on - 7 days off - 3 days on - 1 day off - 3 days on etc.
Pay rate is £13.38 per hour.

The night shifts are:
Start time is 6pm - 6am - 36 hours per week Monday to Saturday.
3 nights on - 7 nights off - 3 nights on - 1 night off - 3 nights on etc.
Pay Rate is £14.44 per hour.
Start time 6am - 6pm - 36 hours per week Monday to Saturday
Pay rate is £12.38

These positions are ongoing for the right candidates.

The role.
To ensure that the equipment is set to the correct manufacturing specification and to check that the machines are operating correctly.
Reporting any faults to management / maintenance team.
All material is the correct material being used as on the job spec.
Manual handling of material onto the machines before and after processing.
Measure and record accurately the width, Length & weight of felt as required.
Record information accurately while completing all necessary paperwork.
Ensure all waste materials are kept to a minimum.
Replacing needlebooks as and when required.
