Our client is a leading force in the manufacturing industry, with decades of experience delivering bespoke solutions and installations across a variety of sectors. Known for exceptional craftsmanship and top-tier customer service, the company continues to grow and is now looking to expand their talented team with an experienced Production Manager.
As the Production Manager you'll play a key role in their busy workshop, contributing to a variety of exciting projects. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background with at least 5 years of experience working within a production or manufacturing environment being able to show a high level in attention to detail and organisational skills.
What's involved for the Production Manager …
- Manage a team of welders, fabricators, and general operatives
- Ensure quality standards and health & safety compliance are maintained
- Plan workloads and coordinate production schedules
- Monitor performance and support staff development
- Liaise with design, projects, and procurement teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across production
- Manage stock, material usage and workshop resources efficiently
- Report on production KPIs and job costings to senior management
What you'll need…
- Proven background in manufacturing or production environments
- Experience leading teams in a workshop or manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication techniques and welding processes is advantageous
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of health & safety procedures and quality standards
- Ability to problem-solve and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

Hours:
Full-time, permanent role. Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:30 (45 hours per week).
