We are working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected UK rotary aviation maintenance organisation, currently seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their aviation maintenance career to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional and supportive environment.

✈️ About the Role

The successful candidate will assist licensed engineers and senior technicians with the maintenance, inspection, and repair of rotary aircraft. This role is ideal for candidates with a mechanical or engineering background, or those with recent aerospace qualifications, who are eager to build a long-term career in helicopter maintenance.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Support routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks under supervision

*

Assist with line and base maintenance operations following approved procedures

*

Help maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

*

Prepare tools, parts, and equipment for scheduled maintenance activities

*

Inspect components, maintain workshop cleanliness, and prepare work areas

*

Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies

*

Learn and adhere to regulatory requirements including CAA, EASA, and internal standards

*

Participate in training and development programs to support career progression

✅ Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

*

Genuine interest in pursuing a career in aircraft maintenance

*

Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with workshop tools and safety protocols

*

Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn

*

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality

*

Right to live and work in the UK

*

Flexibility to work occasional varied hours or travel if required

Desirable:

*

NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent qualification in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

*

Previous experience in a maintenance environment (aviation, automotive, or mechanical)

*

Full UK driving licence
