Multi Trade Operative

We're looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance across Planned Works, Voids, and Responsive Maintenance.

Working in both occupied and void properties, you'll aim for first-time fixes while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out multi-trade repairs (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, basic brickwork)

* Support void refurbishments and planned works programmes

* Attend responsive maintenance jobs and diagnose faults efficiently

* Complete job records using PDA/mobile systems

* Communicate professionally with residents and colleagues

* Follow Health & Safety procedures and conduct risk assessments

* Work flexibly and support apprentices where required

About You

* Experience in multi-trade repairs within social housing or maintenance

* Qualified in at least 1 core trades

* Strong understanding of Health & Safety

* Good customer service and communication skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)

* Able to meet security clearance requirements (SC/BPSS)
