Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product and process quality across the business. You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, supporting root cause investigations, and driving continuous improvement activities throughout production and engineering operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring and maintaining product and process quality to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Conducting internal and external audits, reporting findings, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.

*

Supporting failure investigations, non-conformance reporting (NCR), and root cause analysis using structured problem-solving tools.

*

Collaborating with production, test, and design teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

*

Reviewing and approving documentation including inspection reports, test results, and quality records.

*

Supporting supplier quality assurance activities and incoming inspection processes.

*

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product reliability, yield, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

*

HNC or above in Electrical, Electronic, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.

*

Experience in a quality, manufacturing, or test engineering environment (preferably electronics).

*

Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g. 8D, FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis).

*

Familiar with ISO 9001 quality management systems and documentation control.

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

*

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
