A UK leading contractor are looking for a CAD Technician to join their growing and busy team in London. The role sits within a growing BIM team and focuses on producing and developing high-quality CAD drawings to support both pre-construction planning and live project delivery. You’ll work closely with the pre-con team to translate early design information into accurate 2D and reduced 3D models, as well as support ongoing projects with updated drawings, mark-ups, and 3D scanning outputs. The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, a solid understanding of construction principles, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams. You’ll be part of a tight-knit group of three, reporting directly to Giancarlo, with plenty of exposure to real project workflows and modern BIM processes.

The ideal candidate brings 1–2 years of CAD experience and a genuine interest in construction—whether from site engineering, technical studies, or hands-on exposure. You don’t need extensive site experience, but you should understand how buildings come together from the ground up and be ambitious about developing your technical capability. This is a Holborn-based office role with some flexibility (one day WFH), offering around £40k for the right person.
