I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy within the built environment sector. They are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their facilities and property services function — a critical role overseeing day-to-day service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.

The Role:

As Operations Manager, you'll take full ownership of the facilities and property team's performance and service delivery. Leading a team of six direct reports, you'll be responsible for resource planning, compliance, and ensuring a high-quality, client-focused approach to service management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 6 across property and facilities services

Oversee daily operations, contract delivery, and service compliance

Ensure performance against KPIs and client expectations

*

Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Drive a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence

Support staff development and foster a collaborative team environment

About You:

Proven background in operations or service delivery management

Experience within facilities, estates, or property services environments

Strong people management skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Commercially astute with a customer-first mindset

Solid knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety

Excellent organisational and communication skills
