Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Heston

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (Day Shift)

Salary: £28,828 per annum

Shift Allowances:

£3,000 Day Shift Pay

£5,000 Night Shift Pay (where applicable)

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join their operation based in Heston. This role is critical to ensuring aircraft components are picked, packed, and processed accurately and within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing to strict time-sensitive deadlines
• Inspecting, stocking, and carrying out inventory cycle counts
• Updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and scanning documentation
• Handling Dangerous Goods materials in line with regulations
• Maintaining stock accuracy levels above 98%
• Adhering to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Proactively reporting any hazards that may pose a risk to Health & Safety
• Health & Safety
• Comply with workplace Health & Safety requirements at all times
• Report unsafe conditions, practices, or incidents that could endanger yourself or others

Candidate Requirements

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Comfortable working with inventory systems and scanners
• Awareness of Health & Safety standards (Dangerous Goods experience is an advantage)
