Job Title: Assembly Operative

Salary: £13 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 07:00 - 16:30

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established and reputable manufacturing company based in the Cwmbran area. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with soldering experience looking to develop their skills in a hands-on production environment.

You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality soldering work on electronic components while supporting general production activities and maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform soldering on electronic components and assemblies
• Support general production activities within the manufacturing environment
• Follow detailed technical instructions and processes
• Inspect completed work to ensure high quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively to meet production targets

Requirements

• Previous soldering experience (Preferred)
• Experience within a manufacturing or electronics environment
• Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity
• Ability to follow technical instructions accurately
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
