PMO Project Officer
 
The Opportunity
Carrington West are pleased to be supporting an exciting interim opportunity for a PMO Project Officer to support the delivery of one of the UK's largest and most high-profile regeneration schemes.

This is an opportunity to be embedded within a dedicated delivery team, working at the heart of a major multi-stakeholder programme to transform a key gateway to Bristol into a vibrant and inclusive place to live, work, and visit.

You'll be joining a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment, supporting the Head of PMO and wider delivery leads across a diverse programme of infrastructure, housing, commercial and place-making projects.

Key Responsibilities
·Support Programme and Project Managers in the planning, management and delivery of projects.
·Maintain and update portfolio-level plans and trackers.
·Lead on setting up and maintaining project records and RAID logs.
·Coordinate key project meetings and workshops, producing agendas, minutes and action trackers.
·Support monitoring and reporting, including drafting of reports, dashboards and funding updates.
·Maintain PMO systems including SharePoint and programme controls.
·Assist with onboarding and governance tracking.
·Provide ad hoc admin support to the delivery team.

What You'll Need
·Practical experience working in a project or programme environment.
·Strong IT skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Power BI and Microsoft Project.
·Confident communicator with excellent written skills and attention to detail.
·Proactive, organised and capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting.
·Able to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams and partners.
·Strong information and data management skills.
·Experience supporting project reporting and governance processes.

Desirable
·Working towards APM or similar project qualification.
·Experience working in regeneration, development, infrastructure or construction projects.
