Are you a motivated and passionate SEN Teacher with a commitment to supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you looking for a rewarding new opportunity in a nurturing, inclusive school where every child is understood, supported, and empowered to succeed?

We are excited to offer a full-time, permanent position for a Primary SEMH Teacher at a dedicated specialist provision in Manchester, starting in September 2025. This role is ideal for a compassionate and resilient educator with experience—or a strong interest—in working with children who have SEMH needs. For the right candidate, there is also the potential for a TLR, linked to leadership in behaviour support, curriculum development, or pastoral care.

The Role

Position: SEN Teacher (Primary - SEMH)

Location: Manchester

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

TLR: Available for the right candidate

In this role, you will:

*

Teach a small class of primary pupils with SEMH needs, with high adult-to-pupil ratios

*

Plan and deliver creative, tailored lessons that meet pupils' individual learning and emotional needs

*

Build trusting, consistent relationships to support emotional regulation, resilience, and self-esteem

*

Work closely with support staff, therapists, families and external professionals to support each child holistically

*

Contribute to the wider development of the school and lead on key areas if applying for a TLR

What We're Looking For

*

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience or a strong interest in SEMH/SEN

*

A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual who understands trauma-informed practice

*

A flexible, reflective educator who puts pupils at the centre of all decision-making

*

Excellent classroom management skills with a calm, consistent approach

*

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

*

Applications welcome from both experienced teachers and ECTs passionate about SEN
