Pertemps Education is delighted to be partnering with a respected SEN school in Wandsworth to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a September 2025 start.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team in a specialist setting that supports children with a variety of complex needs. The school fosters a nurturing environment focused on communication, independence, and emotional growth.

Salary: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting pupils with diverse and complex SEN needs such as autism, speech and language challenges, and developmental delays
Providing both one-to-one and small group assistance during lessons and structured activities
Encouraging pupils' independence, emotional wellbeing, and social skills
Working alongside a skilled SEN team and following individual behaviour and support plans
Assisting with personal care when necessary
Collaborating with external therapists, SEN specialists, and families to deliver consistent, holistic careWe're Looking For Someone Who:

Has strong experience supporting students with SEN in either a mainstream or specialist educational setting
Is confident working with pupils who are non-verbal or have limited verbal communication
Demonstrates patience, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team
