Phoenix Solutions & Consulting have partnered with a leading Global OEM who are seeking an experienced Airframe / Aerospace fitter to join in their Manchester based facility. The successful candidate will fit core products for key civil and military clients. You will have a strong attention to detail and be able to produce high quality work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities:

* Assembly of our core product working with a variety of metallic structures

* Perform all assembly operations in line with our Standard Operating Procedures, whilst working to the approved quality standards

* Utilise Key processes: drilling, countersinking, riveting, use of sealants, fitting helicoils, bearing, bushes

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to ensure that the correct equipment is used and fully calibrated.

* Committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.

Qualifications:

* Aerospace airframe / structural assembly experience, preferably working within the aerospace industry

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications

* BPSS security clearance (includes DBS and 3 years employment history)

* Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
