Liverpool City Centre based group of companies in the services sector with a +£200m turnover invite a very experienced and commercially aware Operations Manager to join the team. The role is a vital one within the organisation and comes with the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the business especially within the sales, relationship management, IT and accounts departments.

The right candidate will inspire absolute excellence from every member of the team through their leadership, drive and enthusiasm. They will strengthen all teams across core business elements and ensure that client relationships are continually improved, strengthened with all expectations being exceeded; that every member of the business excels and is managed effectively; growth continues and accelerates, attrition is minimised; deadlines are met; operational improvements are implemented, processes are adhered to, maintained through robust reporting lines and critically, through comprehensive and frequent communication across the entire range of the organisation.

Job Role & Specification

  • Undertake high level management duties and operational tasks in accordance with the direction from board and other key managers.

  • Communicate frequently and comprehensively ensuring that all employees and stakeholders to ensure on-going group growth and daily operations are met and that every change in operational process or situation is communicated without any blind spots.
  • Drive the growth and success of the key teams in line with KPI's.
  • Coach, feedback and continuously develop team members, team leaders and managers ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and tools to deliver brilliantly.
  • Receive, document, manage and inspire employee engagement.
  • Recruitment and hiring of the next generation of outstanding team members.
  • Continually improving internal processes and procedures to help all functions run more efficiently.
  • People management including 1-2-1's, team meetings and conducting regular reviews.
  • Inspiring a professional, focused and performance-driven working environment where every member of the team feels valued and their contribution is recognised.
  • Is decisive in operational decisions and business requirements.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • A proven background of uniting separate teams to deliver singular commercial goals.
  • 10+ years' experience of inspirational leadership at a senior organisational level.
  • Senior management experience coupled with an approachable and personable nature.
  • Project ownership, coordination and delivery experience.
  • A confident, inspirational and motivational communicator to bring the best out of all within the organisation.
  • Confidence to be innovative and deliver new ideas to the organisation.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to coherently communicate objectives and feedback.
