About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher of Engineering to join our Design & Technology department after Christmas. An earlier start date can be arranged.
The successful candidate will deliver a combination of KS3 Design Technology, KS4 Engineering (CNAT), and KS5 BTEC Engineering, working within a supportive team and alongside an experienced Head of Department.
This role is ideal for a teacher who is confident in practical workshop environments and who has strong experience delivering post-16 Engineering qualifications.
Timetable Includes
KS3 DT

General Design Technology curriculum (Years 7-9)
KS4 - Year 11 CNAT Engineering

Supporting the Head of Department

May involve working with small groups in the workshop during practical sessions
KS5 - BTEC Engineering

Year 12 BTEC Level 3 - New Specification

Year 13 BTEC Level 3 - Old Specification
What We're Looking For

Experience teaching BTEC Level 3 Engineering (essential)

Confident delivering workshop-based practical lessons

Ability to teach across KS3-KS5

A collaborative teacher committed to maintaining high standards of learning and safety

Available from January (or sooner)
