HGV Technician

Location: Leicester
Pay: Up to £51,480 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 45 per week
Shifts: Rotating Mon - Fri 6:00am - 3:30pm / 12:30pm - 10:00pm

* +£1.20 per hour for late shift

We're looking for an HGV Technician to work on a range of HGV and LCV vehicles in a busy workshop based in Leicester. The role covers everything from routine servicing and inspections through to diagnostics and repairs. You'll be making sure vehicles are safe, roadworthy and kept to a high standard.

As an HGV Technician, your main duties will include:

* Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on HGVs and LCVs

* Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard

* Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and ensuring compliance with DVSA regulations

* Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently

* Maintaining accurate service and repair records

* Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and ensure workshop efficiency

* Upholding health & safety standards within the workshop

What we're looking for:

* Fully qualified HGV Technician with relevant experience

* Strong knowledge of HGV and LCV maintenance and diagnostics

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* A commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship

* Full UK driving licence (HGV licence an advantage but not essential)
