We are currently seeking a dedicated and inspiring Year 2 Teacher to join our welcoming and successful school in Lancashire from September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time post, ideal for an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Key Stage 1 and a strong commitment to pupil progress.

About the Role:

You will take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, working closely with your year group partner and support staff to plan and deliver outstanding lessons across the curriculum. As this is a crucial transitional year, you'll play a key role in helping children consolidate their learning and prepare for the move into KS2.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have a sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks

Be confident in teaching early reading, writing, and maths to a high standard

Create a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment

Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisation skills

*

Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

*

Be reflective, professional, and committed to continuous improvement
