Our client has an exciting new role at Ysgol Tarren/Mill Haven School which offers specialist services for children, young people and adults with complex needs associated with autism and/or Learning Disabilities and associated disorders.
The School is situated on two separate sites in Felindre and Croeserw respectively.
Both have been transformed into the group’s latest state-of-the-art service and offer a flexible and individualized 24-hour waking program of learning, life-skills and leisure, backed up by person-centred support and therapy.
The school in Croeserw can offer education and care placements on a day and/or residential basis for up to 52 weeks per year.
Both schools are open to children between the ages of 8-18, and the service will also deliver in-house clinical care to children with a learning disability, complex communication, sensory needs and challenging behaviors.
The school in Felindre is able to offer daily educational placements during term time and if residential facilities are also required these can be accommodated at their Residential Home, The Pines which also caters for up to 52 weeks per year.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and for creating successful opportunities for the people in their care.
You will have a proven track record of management in a specialist school setting.
You should also have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum, funding and quality issues and be skilled in partnership working.
