My client, a prominent housing provider in London, is seeking an Interim Group Financial Reporting Accountant for a six-month contract. This role requires two days per week in the London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate accounts and produce monthly financial reporting packs.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and collaborate with the wider finance team to gather necessary information.
- Deliver year-end consolidated accounts and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Act as an ad hoc resource to support the finance team through a period of change.

The ideal candidate will be:
- A fully qualified accountant with experience in a Group Accounting position.
- Proficient in consolidations, year-end processes, and the preparation of financial statements.
- Possess strong Excel skills to efficiently handle financial data.
- Experience in the Social Housing sector is desirable, alternatively, those with Group Accounting experience in a large, complex organisation should also be encouraged to apply.
