Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

The Company

Our client is a market leading engineering company; due to growth they are now looking to recruit a Project Engineer.

The Role

  • The role is required to contribute to the on time, on budget and on specification delivery of a range of projects.
  • Delivering solutions to challenging, technical programmes as a member of a multi-disciplined engineering team.
  • Involved with the design, development, build, testing and verification of various products/equipment, as required.
  • Monitor project schedules, ensuring alignment with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Co-ordinate external stakeholder activities in line with key milestones and technical requirements.
  • Develop, generate, maintain and deliver project related technical documentation in line with customer requirements and timeframes.

The Person

  • Experience in a Project Engineering role within a relevant industry. a
  • Minimum HNC mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • A recognised qualification in Project Management would be an advantage.
  • Must be organised, accurate and self-motivated.
  • Analytical thinking combined with effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Experience of requirements documentation, documentation control and documentation signoff.
  • Experience of working with the customer to ensure the correct technical solution is reached.
  • Experience of project delivery, from an engineering perspective.
  • Experience in ensuring technical guidelines and standards are adhered to.
