Quality Engineer (Plymouth) - Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our BAM Nuttall/Keir JV project in Plymouth, spanning over the next 5 years

PAYE basis

£300 - £350 per day depending on experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Must Have:
• Academic Qualifications - Civil Engineering, Quality, Construction related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
• CSCS - White PQP/AQP

This role is site based - Monday to Friday
45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained at all levels
Act as the primary quality communication channel, driving resolution of quality issues
Plan, undertake, and close out internal audits in line with the Audit Schedule
Prepare, review, and manage Inspection & Test Plans (including subcontractor ITPs)
Support delivery teams with progressive ITP sign‑off, attending regular client quality meetings
Manage material approvals, inspections, and certification tracking
Review Lifetime Quality Records and support timely handover documentation
Provide guidance, mentoring, and site training on Quality requirements and systems
Manage Non‑Conformances, reviewing trends and reporting to senior management
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive quality engagement
