Are you a passionate and skilled SEN teacher with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a number of specialist provisions in Lewisham to recruit SEN Teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver structured, individualised lessons to pupils with ASC.

Create a supportive, sensory-aware classroom that meets pupils' communication and emotional needs.

Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to support EHCP targets.

Use a range of approaches such as PECS, Makaton, and visual timetables to engage learners.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with proven experience in SEN settings.

Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Condition and experience using autism-friendly strategies.

Calm, consistent, and adaptable approach to teaching.

Ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet a wide range of needs and abilities.
