Alexander Lyons Solutions are currently looking for CNC Turners to join our Stansted bsed client on a permanent basis.

Job purpose:

To set up and operate CNC machines ensuring all throughput meets quality expectations, technical requirements and within the desired timeframe.

Main duties & responsibilties:

* Where required, programme machines in line with technical information provided.

* Set up the tooling required to produce parts.

* Carry out first offs to ensure parts meet quality and technical requirements specified.

* Run product batches to technical requirements.

* Check dimensions prior to passing to next operation/Inspection.

* Comply with quality and regulatory standards ISO9001 and AS9100 Rev D.

Experience:

* XYZ experience is preferred.

* Experience Mazak is desirable.

* Previous Aerospace experience would be advantageous.

* Must be able to program/set and operate machine.

* Ability to read engineering drawings.

* Ability to work to tight tolerances.

* Ability to use measuring equipment (Vernier callipers, bore micrometres etc.)

* Health and safety conscious.

* Familiar with working on Aluminium, Steel, Inconel and Titanium
