Part Time / Flexible WorkingFinance OfficerPortsmouth up to £30,000 (FTE)Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Part Time Finance Officer on behalf of a leading manufacturing business in the Portsmouth area.  The successful candidate will join a busy finance function to support with all aspects of transactional finance inclusive of purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, reconciliation through to month end support. Our client is flexible with hours for the right candidate whether that be to work around school hours, 4 days per week etc. Key duties of the role include: 

• Processing purchase ledger invoices
• Liaising with suppliers
• Payment runs
• Bank reconciliation
• Raising sales ledger invoices
• Chasing outstanding payments
• Posting journals
• Accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Fixed asset management 
• Cash book
• Assisting with month end reporting 

Person specification:

• At least 3 years' experience within a finance based role 
• Educated to GCSE level incl. Maths & English
• Strong systems skills including Excel 
• AAT / CIMA / ACCA - desirable
