CNC Setter Operator

Based in Oldbury

Base salary - £40000 + overtime and bonus

We are excited to be seeking a professional and experienced CNC setter operator to join a market leading Midlands manufacturer - with its main site in Oldbury, Sandwell.

Ideally, we are looking for a CNC Turner or CNC Lathe Programmer Setter to join our impressive manufacturing facility that produce fasteners and specialist precision components to tight tolerances across a wide range of industries.

This role will suit a CNC Turner/Programmer or CNC Machinist that really wants to develop their skills and machining techniques. As most of their work is bespoke, there are a wide variety of jobs to work on, meaning you will never get bored setting the same jobs day in day out!

As CNC Setter Operator you will be responsible for:

* Running a section within our CNC department. Setting and operating jobs from start to finish. You will be responsible for 3 machines, 2 x Citizen L20's and a Citizen L32 CNC Turner machines

* Changing of tips, tools, drills and inserts into CNC sliding head machines to manufacture metal components.

* Measuring parts to engineering drawings using tools such as Venier Calipers, micrometers and ring gauges.

* Using shadowgraphs.

* Logging counts and measurement onto our bespoke production system.

The successful candidate of CNC Setter Operator will have:

CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Programmer

CNC Setter Operator with experience of programming, setting and operating CNC Turning machinery

Have FANUC controls experience

* Hours - 7am-4pm Mon to Friday.

* Flexi start/finish times

* 34 days annual leave - 22 days to be taken at any time, the remaining for bank holidays and Xmas shut down.

* Overtime rates apply.

* Twice yearly company bonus scheme paying up to 10% of salary

* £18.25 ph basic salary
