Working Hours - 0900 - 17.15 Monday - Friday

Job Description:

The role of Legal & Debt Recovery Apprentice will be to work alongside our Paralegal and Debt Recovery functions and provide them with a wide variety of administrative, transactional, and clerical remits whilst along the way gaining knowledge and experience of the debt recovery process.

Key responsibilities and tasks include:

Update information accurately on the PropMan data base and standalone files, etc.
Provide general administrative support e.g. re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required.
Deal with incoming calls in a professional manner.
Communicate with internal customers, employees and other individuals to answer and disseminate information.
Open, sort and route incoming / outgoing mail, emails and other enquiries.
Coordinating queries to and between internal and external parties.
Issuing invoices/credits to property owners
Generate ad-hoc reporting
Day to day liaising with Solicitors, Landlords
Communication with debtors/customers
Perform other related duties as required. 

Essential Skills:

Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:

The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, through a range of media - phone calls, email, letters, etc.
Have a 'can do' outlook and a positive work ethic
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to deal effectively with telephone calls and at ease talking to a range of individuals.
The ability to work pro-actively and be able to organise and prioritise workload
Enjoy fact finding and/or have an inquisitive eye
Understand the necessity for confidentiality
Understand the role of teamwork in providing a quality service
Comfortable working on your own and as part of a team
Ability to combine the more mundane day to day tasks with occasional challenging activities
Understand the need for accuracy when making changes to the database
Ideally have experience within a Legal Environment
Be willing to undertake either Business Admin L3 Apprenticeship, or Paralegal Apprenticeship
