Role- Electrical Controls Engineer

Salary- Dependent on experience

Type- Permanent

Location- Gloucestershire

My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team long term.

The Controls Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

BEng / BSc / HND / NVQ qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
Any previous experience of working in a hands-on electrical manufacturing environment would be ideal
Candidates who have recently completed their studies would suit this position well
Knowledge of PLC's such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider etc. would be desirable
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to work well individually as well as part of a teamThe Controls Engineer role will involve:

Working in a hands on environment carrying out PLC coding, panel building, machine wiring and final testing of equipment
Providing technical support to customers as required
Some occasional site visits
Offering support to Apprentices
