The Company

Our client is a market leading engineering company due to new business they require a Planner.

The Role

• The role will plan and coordinate maintenance and engineering plans.
• Maintaining efficient performance and engineering products availability.
• Will support the company planning including materials, engineering capabilities and company time lines.
• Ordering stock.
• Forecasting any spares issues and ensuring health and safety documentation.
• Support works order closure when technical issues arise.
• Master data creation.
• Provide general support to business helping to resolve issues and other ad-hoc requests.

The Person

• This role requires a strong understanding of planning and inventory management.
• Engineering knowlage would be benificial.
• It also requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
• A level (or equivalent) business qualification is desirable or proven work experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience within a similar role.
• Knowledge and experience working with Supply Chain KPI’s.
• IT skills i.e. MS Office.
• Customer orientated.
• Ability to organise and prioritise.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Capacity for analytical thinking.
