About This Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager to cover maternity leave in our thriving Horsham office. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team and work with a diverse portfolio of not-for-profit clients, preparing statutory accounts for audit. As our Accounts Manager, you'll be working in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges, leading a small team while developing your technical expertise in the expanding NFP sector.
What You'll Be Doing Client Work
- Oversee preparation of statutory accounts for audit from trial balance under FRS102 and Charity SORP
- Prepare and review consolidated accounts for group structures
- Handle regulatory disclosure requirements across various NFP organisations
- Act as key point of contact for nominated clients, building lasting relationships
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor Seniors & Assistants involved in accounts production
- Provide technical guidance and support team development
- Ensure high-quality delivery of all client work
What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements - ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
- Extensive experience with FRS 102 (full and Section 1A) and Charity SORP
- Group accounts and consolidation experience preferred
- Previous experience supervising junior staff
- Enthusiastic individual with a 'can do' attitude
- Team player who can work independently when required
- Strong prioritisation skills - every day is different!
