Job Title: First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) Inspector
Location: Dukinfield
Pay: £17.07 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week over 4 days (Monday–Friday)
About the RoleWe’re looking for a detail-focused FAIR Inspector to join a well-established aerospace engineering business in Dukinfield. You’ll be responsible for compiling, reviewing, and submitting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9102 standards.

Main Duties- Follow set processes to prepare FAIR documentation and folder structures
- Submit FAIRs to clients or upload to portals (e.g. Net-Inspect)
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time delivery
- Maintain and track performance through KPIs
- Support best practice sharing and engage in internal/external training
What You’ll Need- Experience in FAIR compilation and submission (AS9102 standard)
- Aerospace or highly regulated industry background
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret tolerances
- Manual inspection experience (using verniers, gauges etc.)
- Strong understanding of sheet metal or assembly processes
- Excellent PC and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Nuance etc.)
- Committed to safety and 5S workplace standards
