We're looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Open Space by engaging landlords and NHS estate leaders, helping them unlock value from their estates through the platform and related services. This role blends proactive business development with solution and proposal design, working closely with internal specialists to deliver compelling, customer-aligned offerings that support both commercial outcomes and long-term partnerships

Who you are

You're a commercially minded business development professional with experience building relationships, developing solutions and converting opportunities into tangible outcomes. You're comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, particularly landlords and NHS estate leaders, and you understand how to tailor propositions to align with both strategic and commercial priorities. Confident presenting and influencing, you enjoy shaping customer-focused proposals and working collaboratively with internal experts to deliver high-quality solutions. You bring a proactive, organised approach to managing your pipeline, using insight and data to track performance, spot opportunities and deliver sustainable growth, while acting as a credible ambassador for the Open Space platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive business growth by proactively identifying, pursuing and converting new landlord and NHS estate opportunities.
• Acquire and onboard landlords onto the Open Space SaaS platform, promoting utilisation studies, monitoring and consultancy services.
• Develop high-quality, customer-aligned proposals and solutions, coordinating input from subject matter experts and internal stakeholders.
• Present proposals and solutions confidently, tailoring messaging to customers' commercial and strategic priorities.
• Build and manage strong early-stage customer relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the engagement journey.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to upsell additional products and value-added services that enhance customer outcomes.
• Track and report on business development activity, performance and KPIs, ensuring appropriate governance and policy compliance.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Open Space, sharing knowledge internally and supporting the ongoing development of services and solutions.
