Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor - Data Centres/Commercial/Public Sector - London

Salary: Up to £100,000 + package or £550 per day (Outside IR35)

O'Neill and Brennan are currently working with a leading main contractor delivering high-value projects across the Data Centre, Commercial, and Public Sector space. They are seeking to hire an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility as a No.1 on major schemes, with the opportunity to work on projects of significant scale and complexity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute MEP Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of large MEP packages while working alongside a high-performing project and commercial team.

- Title: Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

- Alternatives: MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor, M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor, Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor, Senior Building Services Surveyor

- Project: Data Centres / Commercial / Public Sector

- Location: London

- Rate: Up to £100,000 or £550 per day (Outside IR35)

- Start: ASAP but can wait for the right person

- Type: Permanent or Freelance

Responsibilities

- Leading the commercial management of MEP packages up to £130m in value

- Acting as No.1 MEP Quantity Surveyor on projects up to £350m total value

- Overseeing procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts

- Ensuring successful commercial delivery in line with project objectives

- Working closely with internal teams and subcontractors to drive performance

Requirements

- Proven experience as a No.1 MEP Quantity Surveyor on large-scale projects

- Strong background managing high-value MEP packages

- Experience working under JCT Traditional contracts

- Previous exposure to Data Centres, Commercial or Public Sector projects preferred

- Able and willing to commute to London and project sites as required
