Reed Education are delighted to be supporting a high-performing secondary school in Northampton as they seek to appoint a committed and inspirational Science Teacher to join their thriving department from September.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Science across KS3–KS4, with KS5 available depending on specialism
• Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
• Contribute to the development of an ambitious and modern science curriculum
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve exceptional progress
• Work collaboratively within a well-equipped and supportive department

Specialists in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics are encouraged to apply, as well as strong general Science Teachers.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong subject knowledge in at least one Science discipline
• A passion for delivering inspiring, hands-on lessons
• Excellent communication and classroom management
• QTS or equivalent qualification desirable, but not essential
• Applications welcomed from experienced teachers, ECTs, and lecturers transitioning from FE
