Optometrist & Telemedicine Optometrist - Glasgow
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading provider of private clinical eye care services to recruit a dedicated Optometrist and a Telemedicine Optometrist for their modern clinic in Glasgow. Key Responsibilities:

Optometrist

* Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and clinical assessments

* Carrying out pre- and post-operative consultations for patients undergoing laser eye or cataract surgery

* Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including ophthalmologists and clinical support staff

* Ensuring the highest standards of patient care are consistently maintained

* Supporting patients through their treatment journey with clear, compassionate communication

Telemedicine Optometrist

* As a telemedicine optometrist your primary duty will be to communicate with and treat patients via telemedicine.

* In the referral triage team, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs and other primary care routes, allocating them to the most appropriate ophthalmology clinic.

* As a qualified optometrist you will provide clinical support to the hub administrative team where required.

* Working alongside the operations and clinical leads to identify areas for improvements in service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

* Fully qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist

* Strong clinical decision-making and patient care skills

* Previous experience within a refractive or private healthcare setting is desirable but not essential

* A collaborative and professional approach with a genuine passion for improving patients' lives

* Optomestrist must be IP qualified
