Senior Building Surveyor

Commutable from Cirencester, Swindon, Gloucester, Cheltenham - Hybrid

£70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Pension + Discretionary Bonus + Long Term Progression to Director Level

This established building surveying and design consultancy specialises in refurbishments, dilapidations and surveys across a range of traditional and listed buildings, including cottages, pubs and heritage assets. In this role, you will manage a variety of projects from initial instruction through to completion, carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 surveys, preparing schedules of condition and overseeing refurbishment works. You will play a key role in supporting the existing workload while building towards a more senior position within the business.

With that, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Building Surveyor who is confident working independently, with strong technical knowledge and a keen interest in traditional or listed buildings.

The Role:

Managing a range of building surveying projects from start to finish
Carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 surveys
Preparing schedules of condition and dilapidations reports
Overseeing refurbishment and repair projects
Working across office, site and home environments
Liaising with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery
The Person:

Proven experience as a Building Surveyor
Strong technical knowledge including surveys and building regulations
Able to work independently and manage projects
RICS or Associate RICS qualified
Interest or experience in listed or historic buildings desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills
