A welcoming and supportive primary school in the BS37 area is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team from the start of the new academic year in September.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an ECT ready to begin their teaching journey in a nurturing and collaborative environment. You will take on full classroom responsibilities, supported by experienced staff and a dedicated mentor, in line with the Early Career Framework (ECF) to ensure a strong and successful start to your teaching career.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
- Monitor and assess pupil progress to inform next steps
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support behaviour management in line with school policies
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Work closely with your mentor and take part in ongoing professional development
- Follow the school’s safeguarding and child protection procedures
Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS
- Passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality education
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Reflective and open to feedback, with a desire to grow professionally
- Committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
