Grafton Banks Finance are supporting an exciting business in the Worthing area; our client seeks a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary, ongoing basis. Supporting the Head of Finance, this role will provide temporary support across accounts payable, focussing on clearing a backlog of invoicing.

Responsibilities will cover:

• Processing high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently (matching, coding etc.)
• Supplier statements and reconciliations
• Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist with month-end closing activities.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Available and able to start a new temporary position on immediate or short notice.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This role will offer hybrid working, after a training period that will be office-based.
