Senior Finance Manager- Group, Hertfordshire

JSS are delighted to be partnering a leading, large business based in Hertfordshire on the recruitment of an excellent Senior Finance Manager position. This is a Group role reporting into the Finance Director, managing one qualified member of staff, statutory reporting, the group consolidation, audit and VAT. This Senior Finance Manager role offers scope for progression and the chance to also manage stock, fixed assets and capex. This is an ideal role for an ACA or ACCA qualified audit trained individual looking for a Group role in a large business with career progression.

The Role:

The Senior Finance Manager -Group will be responsible for the following duties, as well as managing one qualified member of staff:

-Preparation of Group Statutory Reporting

-Managing the Group Consolidation

-Managing the Group Audit

-Managing Tax, VAT and related compliance

-Improving processes and controls

-Accounting and Reporting of Stock, Fixed Assets and Capex

-Automation of processes and systems

Profile:

We are looking for a candidate with the following experience and skill-set:

-ACA or ACCA qualified, trained in audit

-Experience of statutory reporting and group consolidations

-Experience of managing an audit/dealing with auditors

-Knowledge of UK VAT, tax and compliance

On Offer:

A salary of circa £75-80k, plus 10-15% bonus and benefits, hybrid working and the chance to manage one qualified member of staff.
