We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing freight forwarding company who are looking to add an experienced Customs Clearance Coordinator to their operations team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid customs entry experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment and wants to be part of a supportive, knowledgeable team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and submit customs declarations accurately using CDS

* Process EU entries and GVMS paperwork

* Complete and manage IPAFFS documentation where required

* Ensure all customs documentation is compliant with HMRC regulations

* Liaise with customers, carriers, ports, and internal teams to ensure smooth clearance

* Monitor shipments and resolve clearance queries promptly

* Maintain accurate records and update internal systems

Skills & Experience Required

* Strong working knowledge of CDS entries

* Experience with EU customs processes

* Familiarity with IPAFFS (desirable)

* Knowledge of Destin8, CNS, Excel, and Microsoft Teams

* Experience with Sequoia or Boxtop systems (advantageous but not essential)

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple entries efficiently
