We're seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a vibrant and progressive secondary independent school that supports students with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a passionate educator looking for a long-term career move.
About the School The school offers a therapeutic, small-class environment where students aged 11-18 are supported through a trauma-informed, highly individualised curriculum. You'll be joining a warm and collaborative staff team dedicated to holistic development.
Your Role -
Deliver engaging, adapted lessons aligned with EHCPs and behaviour plans

Use creative methods to boost engagement, communication, and independence

Build trusted relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families

Work collaboratively with pastoral, behavioural, and therapeutic staff

Support the emotional and social development of students
Requirements -
QTS/QTLS or equivalent UK teaching qualification

Minimum 1 year's experience in an SEN or alternative provision setting

Strong understanding of SEMH, ASC, and behaviour management

Resilience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to diverse needs
