A leading multi-site food manufacturer is recruiting NOW for an Engineering Team Leader to work 4on 4off days / nights at their Northwich facility. In return I am offering a salary of £46,700 plus company benefit and bonus. You will be apprentice trained or hold equivalent qualifications and be experienced supervising a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. Food / FMCG would be highly advantageous but not essential.

THE JOB

As Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for the following:

Work delegation & prioritising

Ensuring shifts within team are covered
Team development & mentoring
Reactive Maintenance
Planned Preventative Maintenance
Small project work
Maximising plant efficiency through engineering and production.
Identifying opportunity for continuous improvement
Playing an active role in improvement and installation projects
Working on PLC's (fault finding)
Ensuring full compliance to site H&S procedures

THE PERSON

You will undoubtedly be a confident, highly driven individual. In addition to this you will be:

Apprentice trained or hold equivalent engineering qualifications

Supervisory experience
Good electro / mechanical maintenance skills and experience
From a manufacturing environment - Food / FMCG desirable but not essential
Proactive with an improvements driven mind set
Excellent team player and communicator
