Stock Analyst - Great Barr - £24,000 - £28,000 per annum plus company benefits

Our client is a well-established company based in the Great Barr area of Birmingham; due to continued expansion they are now looking for an experienced Stock Analyst to join their existing team.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:

* Monitor and maintain all branded stock figures to ensure they remain within established minimum and maximum levels

* Identify and report out-of-stock items to the procurement team with urgency levels

* Calculate and advise on order quantities required to address shortfalls and restore optimal stock levels

* Track and evaluate supplier delivery accuracy and timeliness

* Maintain records of supplier performance metrics and escalate issues as appropriate

* Liaise with customer service team daily to communicate stock availability and expected delivery dates

* Prepare regular stock reports for management review

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:

* Strong numerical and analytical skills

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

* Experience with inventory management software is a benefit but not essential

* Understanding of supply chain principles is a benefit but not essential

Hours of Work - Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
