Our client manufactures and markets more than 50 ranges of machines and is a true global leader with a flagship OEM in bespoke machinery and turnkey solutions. Because of continued demand of their bespoke machinery, they are actively searching for a Manual Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.

This position is based in WAKEFIELD, within a busy & fast paced workshop, meaning that the successful Manual Turner will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Huddersfield, Barnsley, Leeds, Pontefract, Bradford and Halifax.

Key Responsibilities of the Manual Turner:

Operating a number of conventional lathes and machine tools, in order to produce bespoke components for use on a variety of internal projects & builds
Reading, interpreting and working directly from engineering drawings, ensuring that tolerances & specifications are achieved
Working Hours of the Manual Turner:
37 Hours per week spread across a regular day shift:

Monday to Thursday - 8AM to 4:30PM
Friday - 8AM to 1PM
In return, the Manual Turner will receive:

Salary: Between £26,000.00 - £28,000.00 (£13.50 - £14.50 per hour)
Holiday Allowance: 34 including public holidays and 1 extra day for birthday
7% Combined Pension (4% Employee / 3% Employee)

Sick Pay: 8 Weeks after 12 months employment
