Role Summary:This is a pivotal role supporting the Managing Director and Office Manager, providing end-to-end client administration for financial planning services. The position offers excellent exposure to a growing book of business and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals. Hybrid working is available, but office presence is preferred to support team collaboration and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing illustrations and paperwork: Supports smooth client onboarding and advice process
  • Submitting new business applications: Ensures timely processing and tracking to completion
  • Assisting with suitability reports: Develops deeper understanding of financial advice processes
  • Maintaining back-office system: Keeps client data and compliance records audit-ready
  • Liaising with providers and clients: Builds communication skills and trust-based relationships
  • Supporting death claims and probate: Handles sensitive situations with professionalism
  • Mentoring junior team members: Enhances leadership and internal development culture

Requirements:

  • Previous admin experience in financial services (ideally financial planning)
  • Strong IT skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Familiarity with provider platforms; Intelligent Office knowledge beneficial
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Positive team player, eager to learn and contribute
  • Comfortable with occasional audio typing and fast-paced environments
