We are recruiting for one of our well esblihed, long term client, who are a leading manufacturing business. They are looking to add to their workforce, seeking a highly competent and computer-literate Maintenance Technician to join their team on a rotating shift basis.

Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

* Ensure the safe, efficient, and timely execution of both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across the production site.

* Work collaboratively across departments to ensure service continuity and operational uptime.

* Maintain accurate maintenance records using the IFS system.

* Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment and site services.

* Respond to unplanned breakdowns to minimise downtime.

* Maintain and update maintenance schedules and equipment records.

* Ensure stock levels of spares and consumables are maintained.

* Support in equipment upgrades, modifications, and prototype development.

* Conduct statutory testing and maintain up-to-date records.

* Oversee maintenance contractors on-site, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and advise on plant upgrades.

What We're Looking For:

* BTEC-qualified (Mechanical and Electrical) or equivalent.

* Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or production environment.

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities across electrical and mechanical systems.

* Proficient in using CMMS (preferably IFS) and Microsoft Office tools.

* Ability to work both independently and within a team.

* Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills.

* Commitment to “Safety First, Quality Always” in all aspects of maintenance work.
